Dear Ms. England’s Class,
The next day, we went down and visited Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts, which is the home of the Boston Red Sox. It was opening day for baseball, and there were lots of people excited to see the team. Fenway Park has been the ballpark of the Boston Red Sox Baseball team since it opened in 1912, and is the oldest Major League Baseball Stadium currently in use. It is the only one of the original ballparks that is still in use and it is also the oldest venue used by a professional sports team in the United States.
